Pool cover question

I have a 30' dia above ground pool. Last year we bought an $80 cover that was supposed to have a 10 yr warranty. Well the wind here ruined it in just one year and we don't have the receipt. :? Any recommendations for an inexpensive cover that will last?

When I had an above ground pool, I just got the cheapest cover and make sure "some" water is on top to keep it from blowing around.

I also found putting the floating tube under the cover in the middle just caused a ring around the tube to wear out, so I never did that again.

OK so I got another low cost cover. It has been on for about a week and it is also on the way to be ruined. How can I stop it from doing this? This is only about a 10mph wind and we will get up to 30 mph here during storms.

Have you thought about using some jugs filled with water to weigh it down? Either lay them on top of it or use them as ballast tied around the perimeter.
