noob here.. need cover advice

Hello, I am new to the forum guys...

I question(s) for the experts about a mesh cover for the winter...

1. Is it worth it and recommended?
2. I see some for 500+ dollars and others that seem the same for 900+. Whats the difference? Can someone recommend one to me?

My pool is 16x32 in ground. It is my first pool and I am struggling with the closing/winterizing of it at this point.

Cheap safety covers are just that. They won't last.

A safety cover should be installed by a professional. I realize some want to do the DIY route. This, IMHO, is not one of those things.

The better covers are made by, and this is not any order, Meyco, Merlin, and Loop Loc. There are many others that make less expensive covers. They are less in a lot of areas other than cost and none of those reasons are to the consumer's benefit.

The better covers will last over 10 years with reasonable care.
