Cloudy water on adding sodium carbonate

Finally had my pool water almost perfect, then wanted to adjust the pH up a bit, so added some soda ash...the water instantly became cloudy. Here's the chemistry:

FC 2.5
CC 0
pH 7.2
TA 80
CH 300
CYA 55
Salt 3200 ppm

Added about 2 pounds soda ash, and water became instantly cloudy. I suspect this is just calcium precipitate, but wanted to know 1) if this is the case, 2) what can I do to keep this from happening again, and 3) is there a way to clear it up quickly or do I just have to let it run its course.

Soda ash will cloud the pool for a little while. With the pH at 7.2, TA at 80 ppm, and a salt system, you should just wait for the pH to rise on its own. You can aerate to raise the pH if necessary. Give the water overnight to clear.
