    I love it, looks great!

What is the finish on the step/pool bottom? In the pictures it looks kind of like natural stone.

It's just a plaster pool. That's just kind of a neat optical illusion caused by the fountain.

    Welcome Meatloaf

The lights are the way we celebrate Christmas here in the desert .
    Lights on our palm trees....

This is a great place for help on your pool.

i was thinking about putting an umbrella holder in our concrete deck too. most people are putting them in the sunshelf, but the way our sun hits, it'd do more good in the concrete. did you just use the same type of ready made, pvc holder?

In my recent pool I had them add a few more for a total of 3 around the west end and sw and nw corners.
They are located about 12" from the edge and are the standard PVC installs with the cap ring and screw in cover.

Where did you get the black pipe? Is it PVC or if not what is it? I think it's a good idea but I can't seem to find black PVC pipe.

How long has it been painted like that? Is the paint holding up well and not coming off?
