I closed my pool this weekend :( . I noticed when draining the stairs that there was lots of algea coming out of them. They are stair case type of stairs that you sink. My pool looked great at closing and the chemistry was spot on. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips on preventing this from happening? I do have all fall and winter to work on it lol

My sister has steps that harbor algae and I suggested to her to take a syringe or turkey baster and squirt some bleach in all the holes about every other month. Since she's been doing that she hasn't had anything growing in them.
