Our pool is about 6 years old. Has paver deck and Luder stone edge. We have been told that we should use a vinyl coated hand rail because of our salt water system. We were planning on installing it on the top step which will be underwater some. Does anyone have experience with this type of installation? We would appreciate any advice out there!

Rails are typically on the deck, near the coping, not in the pool.

The use of plastic anchor cups and rails is strongly suggested since getting them on the bonding wire is difficult, at best. The cups should be set in concrete. Make it deep too so there is a lot of weight and it should extend several inches beyond any side of the cups for strength.
