We have salt buildup on our tile and rocks around our spa. How can you get the salt buildup off? We check the ph and alkalinity every other day. We have a new pepplesheen pool.
If it doesn't simply wash off, it isn't salt but rather likely to be calcium. It is likely the mason didn't add any sealer to prevent effervescence. A 4 parts water to 1 part Muriatic washed/brushed over the deposits will wash them away. Expect to need to do this periodically.
