Borates

Hi all. New to BBB and loving my pool alot more this year thanks to all the great information on here!

I've looked at the pool calculator, but I wanted some advice on how much borax and muratic acid to add to my pool.

Vinyl liner
TA 85
pH 7.6
CH 204
FC 4.96
TC 5.8
CYA 31 (my reading from pool store was 14 last week. added 6# but have learned from here that it could take a week to have full reading)

According to the pool calculator 23000 pool to bring borates to 50:
17.8 (18) boxes of Borax
5 Gallons of Muriatic Acid

If you enter 0 and 50 into the borates section it should give you the number.

So...typically there are no borates currently present in the water???
