I am going on vacation for a week. I have approx a 31k gallon pool. How many tablets do I need to put in for the week? Let 2 floaters in with tablets?

As long as your pool can handle the additional CYA I would load the floaters to the brim with pucks and bring the pool up to shock level just before I left. There is no way I would want my pool to run low on chlorine while I was away on vacation. With 2 floaters, do you have a neighbor that can drop one in for you at the half way point?

Plus, unless you have an autofill, add water to get it a couple inches higher than normal, to allow for evaporation. You don't want the pump to start sucking air.
