Choosing mesh pool cover

My loop-loc mesh cover has reached the end of its life. The replacement quote for Loop-loc is aroun $2500. I've been looking around and I see that there are all this other brands: Ameri-Brand cover (about the same as Loop-loc price wise, but longer warranty), Meyco RuggedMesh and Arctic armor.

They all claim to stop the finest particles, but I can't find any reviews. Does anyone have any of these covers and what do you think is the best solution/investment in long run?

I had a Meyco solid cover, which bit the dust during the blizzard last winter. It was installed at the end of the 05 season...I had expected it to last longer than 5 seasons. I'll be interested to see responses to your post.
