I'm getting leaf debris in my in-line filter. It's not unusual to get bits of grit, like grains of sand, trapped in the filter. This year, though, I'm getting relatively large bits of leaves, debris that I think should be trapped by the pool filter. Lately, the in-line filter needs to be cleaned at least twice per week.
This is a typical Polaris installation - water goes from the pool filter directly into the Polaris booster pump and out to the 380. My in-line filter is the older model that is contained inside the quick disconnect with universal wall fitting assembly.
I'm thinking that this isn't a Polaris problem, but a pool filter problem. As you can see in my sig block, I'm using a Hayward S-244 w/Zeolite. Filter & media are both less than 3 seasons old.
Any thoughts?
