Intex 2500 pump set up ideas????????

I have a 15/48 intex pool, I have the 2500 pump with the swg. I am about to add a thru wall skimmer and I have a extra 2500 pump should I run a separate pump for my thru wall skimmer or link it with my pump that runs my swg and just run one pump. Any ideas would be great.

You could make it work either way. The ones I have seen just use one pump. The original outlet can be used for vacuuming. If you decide to go with two pumps, how do you plan to do the return; over the wall, cut a new hole or something else?
