cloudy water

I have a 27 ft round AG vinyl pool. todays test shows:
FC 4.5
CC 0
TC 4.5
pH 7.8
T/A 120
CYA less than 20
I know I need to add stabilizer, but will that help clear my water? It is cloudy but not green!
any help will be appreciated. Thanks

most likely it is your cya level it is real low,you need to get it up to 50 ppm right away before you start to have other problems........your chlorine wont last long with that low of cya level and i suspect that 4.5fc will be down to 0.0 which means you wont have any chlorine in it by tonight if your pool is in the full sun today...so get stabilizer in there quick............

You can do an overnight free chlorine loss test "OCLT" and rule out/or in organics.
Odds are that you have algae and need to shock.

It would be a good idea to raise your CYA to about 30 for now, until you determine whether or not shocking is needed.

Have you been backwashing your filter?
