Help me pick a new filter please

Hello everyone. I am new and want to thank everyone for all the information you have taken the time to post. We installed the pool last week and everything is great except the filtering. I know from reading this forum I have to replace the filter and pump that came with the pool. I found a DE on craigslist and am wondering if I can make this work. I will also have to replace the pump and am asking for advice on both!

That filter will be fine assuming it is in good condition. For the pump, look for a two speed pump, ideally a smaller one, say 1 HP.
