Pool Tear Down

Hi!
I am getting ready to move and have a pop up style pool. I have heard that when you remove the water and then try to refill it after it has been moved that it will lose its shape. Does anyone know if this is true?

The metal strapping (if any) doesn't stretch but the liner may. Often it is difficult to realign it perfectly because you can't tell exactly how much sand was in the bottom of the pool when it was at it's original location.

Chelsea,

Are you talking about the intex "easy set" pools. If so those will pop right back into the same shape when refilled. If this is what you have, take extra care to protect the inflatable ring during takedown and transport. Once you have a few leaks in the ring, the pool is just about shot.
