Newbie needs help

i filled my my pool, added the the salt and cranic acid. ran the pool for 24 hrs to circulate. starrted the swg as per intex instructions. finally did my testing. hey all, well i finally bought a cheap test kit from walmart till i order one from the internet this weekend. these are the results i got.

Alkalinity 50
Hardness 50
Copper Ion 0

I am running another boost cycle on my intex saltwater per the instructions to try and get the level up to 0.1 to 0.2. with the levels im getting, can i use the pool tomorrow?

Use bleach to get the FC up to 4 ppm and you should be good. How much CYA (I assume that's what you meant by cranic acid) did you add?

We always recommend getting to the top of your FC range with liquid chlorine and continue to use it to maintain that level until the SWG is able to maintain it on its own. SWGs are designed to add chlorine slow and steady to maintain levels so we like to help them out at first to reduce wear on the cell.

thanks for the info, i used the pool calculator and added my bleach about 30 min ago. ill take some new reading tomorrow.
