Type of Sand for Liner bottom on inground??

Hi,
I am trying to find out what type of sand to use to touch up or retrowel my inground. I am assuming it is a sand bottom. I seem to remember a truckload brought in for the last liner job 10 yrs ago. I haven't removed the old liner yet as I believe i need a few good days of good weather to keep hte bottom good.

If its a true sand bottom just get pre-washed sand. Basically sand that doesn't have small stones mixed with it. Most pools are a hard pack mixture of cement sand and vermiculite. Everyone has a different recipe though.

Use sand for cement mix.

I touch'd up my above ground last year..My sugestion is you need to get a compactor to run over after patching..Because the places that I touch'd up have settled&you can see it..
