Cleaning the view tube

My CYA view tube is getting cloudy looking. I rinse it well after testing, but apparently not well enough. Since a grey dot will read differently than a black dot, how to clean it? Acid? Bleach? Ammonia? Anybody got a clue?

No answer, but I thought the same thing last time I tested mine. Actually my thought was that the surface of the tube is etched rather than in need of cleaning, but i'm interested in the responses to this...

6% bleach should clean it. Fill it up, let it sit a bit, then rinse well.

we fill it up with bleach(10.5%) and let it sit for a few minutes(will turn a nice shade of yellow), then rinse
