Pumps shut off intermittently

Folks

I have the Pentair Intellitouch control system with a Pentair whiperflow main pump and Pentair booster pump for the cleaner.
I recently adjusted the timer to take the daily running time down from 10 hours to 6.
Since then the pumps are intermittently shutting off for about a minute at seemingly random intervals two to three times/day.
The water temperature is well above freezing (54F) and the temp sensor in the intellitouch matches that reading.
When the pumps shut off the intellitouch controller shows no change (pool and cleaner running)

I'm at a loss - Does anyone have any idea what would cause the system to behave this way?
