I am getting a deck built for my pool and am going to relocate the steps much closer to the skimmer. Right now they are almost on the opposite side of the pool. The new location would be 1.5 top sections to the left of the skimmer. This is a 21' Round AGP. Would that pose any issues?

It shouldn't pose any problems. You may need to re-aim your eyeball a bit but other than that, you should be ok.
Thanks - I was concerned that it might impede the flow and cause debris not to be "skimmed"
