Please Help!!

I live in Louisville ky, have a 7800 gal above groud pool that uses cart. filters. The filter says is moves 1500 gal/hr.

I have an intex saltwater system. It has been running 10 hours a day and the filter 24 hours a day for the last week. Ph is high, although i have added ph minus several times now (7lbs of it) , it is still 8.0. The free chlorine reads 0. Copper is normal, Alk. is normal. These are the only things i can test at this time. The water is very cloudy. what do i do?

If you could post a full set of test results we can be of more help. but from what you have you need chlorine ASAP! have you added salt to your water?

You really need a complete set of test results. If your test kit can't measure everything, get a pool store to test your water for you.

Yes I added 200lbs of salt a week ago. I will get one, just have not yet.
