Does anyone make chlorine tabs without stabilizer. I Use the BBB method with great success but the sun in the desert is very intense. Sometimes it would be nice to use a floating chlorinater without adding stabilizer. I go through a lot of bleach to keep my chlorine level up. My Cya level is 35.

You're either gonna get calcium or cya with the pucks.

Unfortunately they do not exist in a practical manner.

You may want to increase your CYA level and/or use a cover to block the sun from your water.

If CYA is really 35...I mean, really - you tested it, it's been consistent, not from a pool store, not from a strip - then you can use trichlor pucks for a while. Given the Vegas sun, 60 wouldn't be outrageous for CYA.

Increase your CYA and buy a chlorine pump! you'll enjoy the difference :-D
