Filter is leaking bad due to a crack around the neck

I own a 15' round above ground pool with a sand filtering system. The filter is leaking bad due to a crack around the neck. I am now looking for a new sand filter and 1hp pump. What do you recommend? I would also like to convert to a salt clorinator. What do you recommend?

Welcome to TFP!

Get the largest filter you can afford and have room for. Larger filters go longer between backwashing and filter better overall. Look for a two speed pump, running a two speed pump on low can save a lot of money on electricity. The Intex SWG is basic but works well. The next step up, the AquaTrol, is noticeably more expensive but includes several nice extra features like a pump timer.
