Can't get DE Filter Cover Back on After Servicing

Has anyone had this problem? I have cleaned the grids on my Hawyard DE 4800 filter and can't get the cover back on. I have the gasket cleaned, lubricated and seated properly. When I put the top back on I can't get it to seat. It's like the gasket is too large?

Any tricks to get it back on?

Figured it out. The filter had the wrong gasket on it. I got the proper gasket and the top dropped right on.
