Test kit arrived today...1st tests

My new TFT test kit just arrived, so (if I have done the tests correctly) here are the first results.

FC 5.5
CC 0.5
TC 6.0
Ph 7.3
TA 80
CH 400 (you have to chew tap water in Tucson)
CYA 70
salt 3200
Borates 50

Note: the Ph is low because I have been using acid and aeration to get the TA down from 220 where it was. Looks like I'm there.

So other than keeping the aeration on until the Ph comes down, does this all look right?

Looks great and PH at 7.3 is OK too, especially with CH at 400

You might want to aim a little higher when you add bleach - if you only have .5 spare FC by late afternoon, that's cutting it awful close. pool-school/chlorine_cya_chart_shock

Otherwise, I'd say you did a fantastic job balancing the pool without a test kit!

Ok, I'm a little confused. The chart you linked to shows a target FC of 5 with a CYA of 70 in a SWG pool. Since my FC is 5.5 @ CYA 70, am I not OK?

Oops, I missed the SWG part. It continuously adds chlorine, so nevermind.
