Aqua Logic Board is only reading "high salt"

I replaced my Haywood Aqua Logic salt cell with a Compupool salt cell. Since my 5 year old Aqua Logic Board is only reading "high salt", I'm not sure if the cell is working. Very frustrating! I don't need the expense of a new board. Can someone help?

Have you tested the salt to be sure it isn't too high?
