Usage Question

Grand kids have been in the pool since mid morning.I checked chlorine at 730 p.m.,just as soon as they got out. Just done my chlorine test twice and got 6.5 and 7.0 cc 0.0...My usual reading is 8.0 with cc 0.0....
Can I figure this is a normal drop since the pool has been full of kids most of the day??

Kids usually means a chlorine drop. The sun will knock it down too. My guess is you had a higher than normal chlorine demand, but you had enough reserve to handle it without any CC forming.

thanks for the info john t.... I try to stay a couple of points above the recommended level for extra "security". I too use the liquidator,loaded with 12.5%.

I kind of try to bump the FC up by 1 to 2 ppm prior to having lots of kids in the pool. Kids will pee in there, no doubt about it.
