Hi all, been a while since I've checked in. I need to buy a new SWG. However, I don't want to plunk down the $500+ for an AquaTrol, etc. I think an Intex should be able to handle the job. I've been catching up on all the threads in regards to the new models with the copper output and such. I know not to buy the model with the built-in pump, but it still looks like there are several models to choose from. I have a 16'x32'x52" AGP. Pool is shaded about half the day. I'm running a Hayward 1.5 hp pump. Also, do the Intex models come with all the adapters and such to plumb this or will I need to order anything extra? I assume this just attaches inline in the PVC return line? Thanks. Hope everyone is well.

Hi Bossm4n, the intex swg fittings are 1 1/4" so if you have 1 1/2" pipes you will need some reducers. Generally you can get those at the home depot or lowes.
