What kind of pump

Our pool is semi inground 2ft. Do we need a super pump or a reg pump system? Looking at Hayward Sand Systems. Also we want to place the system away from pool should we dig a hole to make it lower without spending money on a super pump.

As long as the pump is below the water level and the pipe runs are only ten or twenty feet you can use any standard above ground pump. If the pump needs to be above the water line or the pipe runs get longer you may need to switch to an in-ground pool pump.
