Swim Pro Voyager filter housing

I am having a hard time getting the housing on this to turn. Every year I have had a bit of resistance, but this year it won't budge. Thought I had it tightened only to find water coming out when it started to fill. In the past I have used a lubricant, which probably isn't a good idea due to it getting inside, but I tried it today and it still won't budge.

Anyone else have a problem with this?

Can you post a picture of it?
Silicon pool lube is a good thing to use.

I used the silicon spray which helped me to get it unstuck. Looking inside I noticed that the o-ring was stretched out of shape. All fixed now. Thanks.
