When should I replace my 150 sqft cartridge filter ?I have cleaned it maybe five or six times and the return pressure is fine and my pool is sparkley but they arent much maybe 100.00 so not to much for once a season.Which was my original idea any thought from others thanks

I wouldn't replace it until it really needed it but your thinking may be different. If you do buy a new one I'd recommend cleaning the present one and keeping ti for a spare.
We used our cartridges for four years with no problems and only replaced them when dear hubby used the pressure washer to clean them (then we HAD to replace them). There was no difference in water quality/clarity in when we started using the new ones. I don't know where you live therefore how long your season is, but ours runs from mid April to mid October.

I just noticed Conn.you run from april to Oct I don't Like to get in below 77 or above 87 LOL Conn.I'm a whimp!!
Ha ha gpmidway, I'm a wimp too actually - when the water is much under 78 I wear a wetsuit designed for wearing in swimming pools! And on the rare occasion the water temp hits 88 I'll wait to swim at night and then it's heavenly!!
