Muriatic acid and swimming

I just added some muriatic acid to lower my PH because it was at 7.8 and my TA at 160. The pump is running of course but how long do i need to wait before I can swim? It's HOT lol.

What was your method for adding it?

I poured it into the pool over the return with the pump running.

You have a very large pump for your pool size... anyway, I would check the ph again in 30 minutes and if it is acceptable, go for it!

If you really want to be cautious, you could even brush for 10 minutes, that would be sure to get it all good and mixed up prior to testing.

7.2, TA only went down to 140 so still a bit high but that can be fixed with some bubbles and more acid later, time for swimming! Thanks!
