I have an inground 36,000 gallon concrete pool and am using the BBB method. This is our first ever experience as a pool owner as we just bought this house in March. After adding any the BBB chemicals, how long should we wait before swimming?

30 minutes is usually plenty long enough. 15 would probably be fine but we give it a few more minutes to ensure the chems are mixed well.
What Bama said is true, but here's an easier way.
Add your chemicals into the return stream. Put on your swim trunks. Grab the brush and go around the pool once, brushing all the way. By the time you're done with that, everything's mixed, and you're hot enough to really want to get in. Lose the hat, shirt, and shoes, and plunge in.
