Ok To Install Salt Cell Before The Rest Of The Unit?

Hey everyone,

Just received my new Salt Water System (Compupool CPSC48). Question, is it safe to install the cell into the plumbing of the pool and allow water to pass through it before I’ve got the head unit installed and wired to the electrical line? Reason being, I’d like to get all the plumbing done this weekend but most likely won’t be doing the electrical side till next week since there’s a good chance I’m gonna bring an electrician in to do that part. But my pool is already open and running so if I do this, water will pass through the salt system before the unit is up and running.

Is this fine?

Plumbing the cell in without doing the electrical is just fine.
