Lost my Blue Scooper for CL Test - TF Test Kit

I just realized I can't find my little blue scooper to test my CL. Is there something else I can use? An 1/8 teaspoon? I know I have CL using the basic yellow dye reagent, it is the CC I wanted to test.

I plan on placing an order for refills this weekend so I will be sure to add a blue scooper but in the mean time, any help is appreciated.

It is somewhat of an inexact amount in that you nead a "heaping" scoop. A pinch should do until you get the scoop from Dave.

Yes, winger and Richard are both right. it is inexact. As long as the solution turns pink/red, it's good. If it goes to pink/red for just a second or two and then turns back clear, add the same amount of powder again.

I would use the VERY tip of a popsicle stick, etc. YOu don't need very much at all EXCEPT that it really helps my refill sales when you GLOP it in there!!

Thanks for all the help and I will keep the info for future use since I found it right under my nose! It was where it was supposed to be in my kit. Just one of those days! :-D
