Maybe this is too obvious, but I did search for it: When adding liquid chlorine for maintenance levels (not shock) when is the best time and how long before swimming? I'm using up some trichlor pucks I have left over since my CYA is low but will be switching to regular chlorine shortly. Thanks.

It doesn't really matter what time you add it as long as the pump is running and the water is circulating.
I recommend waiting about 30 minutes after adding it to swim. That just ensures that you don't get into an area of elevated FC.
