Ok, I bought a tube of $$ deck-o-seal one step to seal the joint between my cantilever pool deck and the stone tile lining the water line.
The sealant was extremely, and I mean extremely thick. I literally deformed my caulking gun trying to get it out of the tube - bent the metal ends. It was almost like it had started to cure in the tube. I don't think this can be normal. I tried to smear it into the gap and it was so thick it would not change shape to fit into the gap.
Is this normal for deck o seal? Did I get a bad batch?
