Chlorine Swimming Pool Ozonator Generator, worth the money?

Confused???? 1/2 the people say it is not worth the money and the other 1/2 say it will pay for itself in two years?? Any advise or experience???

Ozone is not generally worth it for outdoor pools. Ozone breaks down organics, which helps lower your chlorine usage. However, ozone also breaks down chlorine, which raises your chlorine usage. The net savings at best small and sometimes it ends up using more chlorine than it saves. For indoor pools there are some additional aspects that can make ozone worth it.
