Looking in to building my own pool. Don't know it all, but I know a little. I have previously owned and operated a small construction business and have been involved in the construction industry for 20+ years. I am currently a resident representative for an engineering firm that specializes in water and wastewater treatment plants. I am completely comfortable in the construction aspects of pool building,(permits, excavation, installation, concrete, plumbing, electrical.....) but it starts to get a little uncomfortable for me when I begin to look at pool equipment and treatment operations. I hope to gain some knowledge from the site and get some opinions of what to use and what not to use.
