What is the best way to make an older diving board look newer? Nothing at all wrong with the board, just looking dirty and tired.

pressure wash? is it just dingy from the foot traffic? Maybe scrub it with a bleach solution...
We power wash and bleach but the springs seem to be still dingy. Can you paint the base?
I don't really know about painting... On first thought, I would say why not, but then paint may interfere with the spring action... perhaps if you could just paint the outside of the springs, but even then, with the amount of movement in springs the paint may fail quickly.
