Electronic tester recommendations sought

O.K., getting lazy. Looking for an easy tester for salinity and pH.

What would be good for pH? My TF-100 kit will not read above 8.2 and I need something that will.

You don't want your PH to be at or above 8.2 in the first place. If you think it is testing higher than that, just use the pool calculator to Assume it is that and adjust it down to the recommended level. Retest and repeat if necessary.

I rarely test salinity (maybe monthly) to find using accucheck strips a nuissance. On the PH, why would you want to measure PH above 8.2? You should really keep pool water PH between 7.2 and 7.8

I'm trying to use the pool calculator to figure out how much acid to add but if I don't know the true pH then I end up adding too little acid.

Lather, Rinse..........and REPEAT if necessary!
