Everytime I add DE lately it looks like it just going straight into the pol and not sticking in the filter. Shortly after a add it my pool gets very cloudy. Any idea what's going on here?

Probably a torn screen. Or something didn't seat properly the last time you opened it. Did you open it for cleaning just before this started? Regardless, you need to take the filter apart and check for tears andthat everyhing is seated properly.
What type of DE filter do you have?
Most likely a small tear in one of the grids, or a small crack in the manifold which may be hard to see. If it's a grid pack, be sure to completely take apart the whole thing to thoroughly check everything out.

While it could be a tear or hole in the grids, I'd say it's more likely that you just didn't get something put back together just right the last time you tore it down.
