Adding Clhorine with Polaris .....

I need to add a 128 oz jug of bleach to the pool according to our test from yesterday. I also need to run my Polaris because we are getting acorns in the pool from the dang tree I want to take down but havent had time to do it :!:
:?: :?: My question is, can I add the bleach while the Polaris is running and will that be enough water movement to mix it or should I add the bleach first and then run the Polaris. OR canI add the bleach to the skimmer basket and let it run through the filter. I am waiting on the durn leaf net we orded to get here so I can cover the pool :!: (I had to send other one back they sent wrong size)

I would add the bleach in front of a return, wait a few minutes, and then start the polaris.

ETA of course, I may or may not know what I am talking about!!

Add the bleach to the skimmer....pump running......or distruibute it evenly around the pool, whichever you prefer. Put the Polaris in anytime.

Do not count on the Polaris to circulate and mix the bleach.

OK, my Polaris runs off of the only return that I have in the pool. Is it still ok to add it through the skimmer or should I just add the bleach and attatch the Polaris later?

Either way. The higher concentration of chlorine will pass thru your Polaris very quickly. To be 100% safe you could let the water run for 15 min or so and then hook up the Polaris.
