Kreepy Krauly

I don't remember ever having this issue last season, but about a week ago I got out the Kreepy Krauly out for the first time in quite a few months and it will not stay on the pool floor at all. I tried pushing it to the bottom with a pole hoping it would catch the bottom with suction and stay there, but it just lift back off the bottom after a minute and then just floats around suspended in the water and does nothing to clean the bottom. Is there something I can try to fix this? Thanks

Sounds like it has an air bubble trapped in it somewhere. I know on my Ranger, it'll do that and I have to turn it up and shake the bubble loose.

Make sure the 3 blue ring weights are in the right spots on the hose. Also do you put your hose in front of a return to blow all the air out before hooking it to your suction source?

I never thought of putting the hose in front of a return. I'll try that.
Also, I did not know about the blue right weights, so that is probably a factor as well. Thanks!
