Cooper filter lateral swap

I've got a Cooper Ranger sand filter 24" and would like to get an opinion on replacement of the laterals.
I was thinking about replacing the whole lateral assembly with a Hayward model sx244da umbrella lateral assembly.
Replacing the 8 cooper laterals would be more expensive than the complete Hayward assembly. The Cooper filter has an 1 1/2 stand pipe connected to the hub.

Don't know...never heard of a Cooper filter. I would think that as long as the standpipe fit and the assembly fit in the bottom of the tank, it would work.

Thanks for the reply. Just got it yesterday and trial fit seems to be good.
