I have been out this morning getting the pool ready to start up and when i plug my pump into the outlet it works and sounds fine but it is drawing water in from the discharge and blowing it out of the skimmer like its in reverse or something. The pump is a 2 hp 115 volt non reversible motor with regular above ground pool sand filter. I tried to reverse the motor by switching the white and black wires but like it says it is non reversible. whats wrong and how do i fix it?

I'm not sure how you could get a pump to pump backwards even if you wanted to.
Are you sure you don't just have the hoses switched between the pump/filter and the pool?

not really any way to switch the hoses the one that runs from the sand filter is too short to run to the other hole on the pump and the other hoses will only go the one way.
should the hose from the skimmer go in the pump itself of into the top of the filter?

It should go skimmer to the pump, top of pump to filter, and then filter to pool returns.
