Autocleaner with romote control

Hi I a beginner of a pool and need some help from here. Our pool was 7 years old, built with the #1) D.E. 60 sf. Pentair pool filter, #2) Pentair pool pump WHISPHERFLO 1.5 hp, #3) Rainbow Chlorinator, #4) Pentair Mini Max Gas Heater 400,000 btu W/Electronic Ignition, #5) Legend Platinum pool cleaner, 3/4 hp, pump, motor & time clock, #6) Pentair intellitouch wireless computer i9+3 etc etc., 185,000 gal.

About 10 days ago, one of our skimmers stopped working, the repair guy came to the pool and adjusted the pumper pressure and now apparently both skimmers are working fine but the auto cleaner gradually stopped moving around. Now basically, the robot totally stopped.

Don't know what going on? Any suggestions are welcome.

The Legend cleaner works off of a booster pump. It it isn't moving the booster pump is probably either turned off or having a problem, though there is some chance the problem is in the cleaner. The first thing to check is to make sure the booster pump is running.

We checked the pump and it was hot but not pumping. What should we do next? Thanks

You should shut off your pumps and examine the booster pump. Most of them allow you to open up the pump to check to see if something is clogged inside. If you can't open it up, with the power off, try turning the motor shaft by hand and see if it turns freely or not.

You don't want to power on the booster pump if it isn't pumping water other than for diagnosis and testing. If you can't fix it quickly you should figure out how to turn it off while still running the main pump.
