Pressure Gauge Replacement

If the gauge is on top of the filter then there is no need to drain the filter. If the gauge is on the multi-port valve on the side of the filter then draining the filter is a probably a good idea, though not essential. The essential thing is that the filter not be pressurized. Simply turning off the pump should be enough to insure that.
