Is there any specific procedure to replacing the pressure gauge, like draining the filter, etc.?

Nothing special is required. Just turn off the pump, remove the old gauge, wrap the threads on the new gauge with a couple of turns of teflon tape, and screw it in.
Don't I need to drain the filter? Some generic "How To" site said something like opening the airbleeder then the drain valve. I didn't see any such critter on mine (drain valve). :?
If the gauge is on top of the filter then there is no need to drain the filter. If the gauge is on the multi-port valve on the side of the filter then draining the filter is a probably a good idea, though not essential. The essential thing is that the filter not be pressurized. Simply turning off the pump should be enough to insure that.
Gauge is on the side of the multi-port valve which is on top of the filter. I think I should just shut it off, open the airbleeder to relieve the pressure then take it off. What do you think? :?:
