Tanning Shelf LED Lights

I've read that LED lights usually need 18 inches of water, Min. I'm building a 10/6 tanning ledge and would like to put an LED light on it as most tanning shelves never get lit by the pool light because they sit much higher than the pool light.

Can I put a small LED light in 7 inches of water?

Does anyone have suggestions of a shallow LED light?

You can use the Nexxus Savi Melody, or Savi Note.
They can be in as little as 4" of water.

The other way to do it would be with fiber optic lights, which can go just about anywhere.
