liner reoval to level bottom

hi all
i have a 1 yr old above ground pool
the pool company here in ontario, canada used peat moss for the bottom instead of sand
well after the water warmed up last august i finally got to get in
bottom was very soft and you need alterain feet to walk on it
so after months of complaining they are going to remove liner an level out the bottom
my worry is that the liner will not be ok after they re install

If they re-install the liner the same day it should be o.k. If they damage the liner insist they repair or replace it, depending on how much damage is done.
